The first big ruin that I came to was called Wanyawanna where I hiked 326 steps to the top. The guide was explaining the intelligence of the Incas. This site took about 100 years to build (It was never completed). It had earthquake protection and a filtered water system all in place. Each terrace was also designed so different fruits and veggies could grow throughout the year. This ruin was surrounded by glorious mountains, the greenest vegetation and the sounds of waterfalls.
