My nephew, the badass.

So, this past week my nephew came out to visit with my mom. She decided to treat her grandson to a little winter vacay in beautiful Colorado. This was great for me because I finally found someone who rides. (Nobody cares that you tele.) It was so much fun to watch him ride. He is incredibly talented... if any scouts are looking at this, check out the videos below. :) The first video is in Breckenridge. Slumber Party!

So last night my "cousin" and I had a slumber party at my house. We had so much fun! We watched a movie, made old-fashioned popcorn, did our nails, and of course, went in the hot tub. This morning Kayla and I made delicous chocolate chip pancakes (she is quite the little chef). This picture is taken right before her departure.

This is my new year's resolution... to keep this blog up-to-date. We will see how it goes...

I wasn't quite sure if I should continue this blog because the main reason I started it was to talk about my wonderful life on the beaches of Brazil. I'll just say, life changes. However, many of you expressed to me and encouraged me to keep doing it. So this, is my thank you. I decided to start on the first of the year in the new decade of the new millennium. (Did I really just write that?)

So, where to begin?This past year has been one of many ups and sad to say many downs. I moved back to my home in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. I am working a new job only a short distance from my new (and may I say, fabulous) condo. I am also doing a great deal of yoga--- during these past few months it has become my everything. I have also been reconnecting with the greatest (and most gorgeous-inside and out!) friends a girl could ever ask for (see picture). Life is good.
