Surf's Up!

Just because I love bikini-slacklining in Paradise.

No one knew how to work a digital camera but this is what I looked like surfing. trust.

This morning I awoke to the sun shining on the ocean and pure excitement. Today, we were surfing. Life is good. The best part? Surfing with delicatable surf instructors ten years my senior. Oh, and I'm actually skilled too! I was the first one to go and got up! I was even able to turn! I'm now officially an addict to both the sport and to those (of the opposite sex) that participate. :) The combination of high, calm, serenity, and peace causes starvation for more...

Away we go...

So, I arrived to my yoga/surf retreat in Punta Mita, Mexico with my good friend Adrian (Adie!). The private estate we stayed in was completely indescribable. Just to give you an idea of the type of place it is: the location is in between Jennifer Aniston's house and the guy that created the Girls Gone Wild franchise. A private beach, gorgouse mountain view and a sense of pure serenity. What more could a girl ask for?

The New Love of My Life

On Thursday, February 11, 2010, Mason Jordan made his arrival into the world. My dear friend (and now hero) DeAnn was in labor for more that 21 hours (yup, 21, that wasn't a typo!) and she chose me to be her labor coach. I am so thankful that she chose me! It was such a wonderful experience to be there and contribute to the arrival of this little guy. How lucky am I? And, how perfect is he?

Dear Climbing Shoes:

We've had good times over the years. However, I feel it is time to move on. Trust me, it's me, not you. We have grown apart and as of late, you have become abusive. So, (deep breath), "This relationship is over. I'm breaking up with you."
