Adventure in Colorado Springs

Garden of the Gods of course.

Some of the White Trash I found the morning after.

Top of the Incline.

aaahhh. Sonic. Take note of my CorePower Yoga "Boot Camp" coach t-shirt.--Don't try this at home kids!

This past weekend my girlfriend Holly took me back to her old stomping grounds -- Colorado Springs. After fighting her for months thinking she was going to give me a Ted-Haggard-like experience, I finally gave in. I am now referring to CS as " 'Jersey, Colorado." I swear at some points during our short stay, it was like being in the 'ole Garden State. With white trash so beautiful you can't make it up, smokers on every corner, and temper tantrums at Sonic (a local fast food restaurant), I felt like I was at home.

However insanely similar my experience was there to my experiences when I go "home", it made up for it ten fold in the land. Colorado Springs is GORGEOUS. There are beautiful hiking trails just moments from her childhood home, many multi-million dollar mansions, and nightlife! Who knew CS had so much to offer? We were only there for less than 24 hours but for the time being I believe that is all the city can handle of "Fuel" and "Fire". Never would I ever think that I would look forward to going back... and I wasn't even brainwashed or baptized!
